Notes

Catch and release has been re-instated on Haywards Farm lake and some great fishing has been experienced this week with two rods bagging between them 27 fish! The cooler conditions and overcast weather has resulted in the lake coming back on form.

Mike Fletcher had a lovely fish of 5lb as part of a four fish catch weighing in at 14lbs all taken on small buzzers and nymphs.

Floating lines and small nymphs (Buzzers, Diawl Bachs, Pheasant tails, Hares ear) are proving particularly effective and while we keep the cloudier weather would expect this approach to continue to be successful.

The boat fishing has also been generating good bags and we recommend booking a boat (due to demand) please feel free to give the centre a call  on 0118 930 3860.
