A very busy week at the fishery in the lead up to the Reading Show and despite being closed on the Saturday and Sunday we had a fantastic week of catches with yet more double figure fish being caught, the best of which went 12lb 8oz and was safely returned to the lake. Still a huge amount of fly activity on top and plenty of free-rising fish but often they are just out of reach from the bank. If dry fly is your aim then why not try a day out on one of our two boats – but please do book in advance to avoid disappointment.
