John Horsey is an Angling Trust Ambassador and one of the leading fly anglers in the world. He has captained England Fly-Fishing teams at World Championship, European Championship, Loch Style and River levels and has been a professional guide for more than 20 years so you’ll be in excellent hands!
- Hobby Lake is named after the bird species that used to frequent the area in numbers.
- The lake has abundant fly life, so offers superb floating line fishing with nymphs or dry fly.
- An exclusive Lake only usually available for corporate bookings.
- Spring-fed with crystal clear water clarity and depths from 3 to 15ft
- Stocked with fin-perfect rainbow, blue, brown, golden, spartic and tiger trout well into double figures.

Angling Trust staff will also be on hand to discuss our work and demonstrate the work of our Water Quality Monitoring Network.
