After a mini heatwave, that severely curtailed prospects this weekend, there are now clear signs that the fishing on Haywards Farm Lake is beginning to slow down for summer.
We will now be switching on our aeration system and monitoring water temperatures carefully to ensure that the fish are not becoming stressed and will enforce our now annual summer closure in due course. Please check the Game Fishing Centre website or call us on 0118 930 3860 to check.
For those fishers who did get out on the cooler days, or fished early or late in cooler conditions, there were fish to be caught with buzzers, hoppers, diawl bachs and damsels the key patterns.
