Another mixed week with some very heavy rain mixed with beautiful spring-like conditions. At times we had all four seasons in one day, or so it seemed!

The lake continues to fish well with many anglers catching several fish in one day. Floaters through to intermediate lines have done best with nymphs, damsels, buzzers and dial bachs taking the majority of fish for those going imitative. Snakes, humongous, cats and blobs took the rest of the catches with fish being well spread around the fishery. Reminder that the lake is closed on Friday so the staff can get ready for Saturday’s Fur & Feather competition which is now fully booked.
