Fishing Report 22nd November 2021

Notes

Last week was a far better week one with the fish finally starting to feed as we would expect at this time of the year. Plenty of anglers hit the water and some had some barnstorming days. Best bag of the week was 12 with several others recording 5, 6 and 7 fish, most notably one angler catching all of their fish on dries.

The fish have continued to be very high up in the water and the bung and washing line methods have done well but those willing to persevere with the dry fly have also been rewarded. The buzzers have continued to hatch off on the calmer, warmer days and the fish have been free rising all over the fishery. There are still no particular hotspots and the fish remain well spread all over the lake.

It looks like we are going to have a more typical wintery snap over the next week, so hopefully that will drive the fish on even more and catches will continue to get better and better. The water is crystal clear and in superb condition so come down and give it a go!
