Notes

A mixed week of both weather and fortunes some anglers had great bags and found it relatively easy to catch, others struggled to get anything to the bank. The boats have still been out of commission due to the high water levels but we are hoping that the levels will drop enough to make getting to the platform without requiring thigh waders! Despite the boats being out of commission they have been pretty surplus to requirement as the fish have been hugging the banks quite closely and we have see fish moving right up on the shallows. Buzzers have been really effective this week under an indicator set at only around 2′ deep. Regular angler Jeff had several fish to high single figures in a matter of a couple of hours with several other lost. Mini lures are catching along with damsels but despite the fish being high in the water sink tips and intermediate lines have worked well for those that have used them.
