With the arctic conditions arriving here on Thursday and the lake freezing over on Saturday and Sunday it was a mixed week here on Haywards Farm!  We had a strong start to the week with plenty of good fish being caught with an average weight of 4lb 8oz, however then the snow came, followed by the majority of the lake freezing over by Sunday.

Good news is the lake has thawed this morning and we are due an increase in air temperature so hopefully the good fishing we experienced at the start of last week will resume!
