The fishing this week has been phenomenal with a rod average of 6 fish per angler and an average weight in excess of 4lb!

The brown trout are really beginning to show themselves with many anglers landing some real specimens, the best being caught and released from the bank by specimen hunter Chris Williams which weighed in at a whopping 11lb 8oz.  Chris topped off his weekend by becoming a father on Sunday so congratulations to him!

Boat anglers continue to do particularly well, especially fishing slow and deep with mini lures.

3 tagged fish were also caught giving their captors a complimentary catch and release ticket each, however the double figure rainbow containing the tag for the prize money is still at large!
