With freezing temperatures and snow it was a very quiet first half of the week for the fishery. Just when we finally thought that spring was here, the winter weather was back with a bang!

By the back end of the week the snow had gone but chilly conditions remained. Anglers returned and had some great sport, with some of our regulars getting bags of up to 8 fish and the best tipping the scales around 6lb.

Damsels, buzzers and mini lures worked best this week with either floating or intermediate lines. The lakes are in fantastic condition and the fish are certainly pulling hard. Lots of tagged fish are still swimming around so why not come down and have a go at winning the cash jackpot!
