Notes

The trees are starting to bloom and the daffodils are flowering well, but there was a distinct feel of winter again this week with cold conditions set to return.

The fishing continued to be steady with anglers taking bags up to high single figures in numbers and the best fish reported to be around 7lb. Naturals have still been the best plan of attack, but lures faired pretty well with the recently stocked fish. Patterns like snakes and blobs fooled plenty.

The water is in fabulous condition and thankfully the days are now really starting to stretch so we are hopeful of even more impressive spring fishing on the way very soon.

Tight lines!
