Fishing Report 14th March 2022

Notes

Last week was another great one with some more spring-like weather – every week seems to be getting better and better now, as do the hatches.
Once again there was lots of buzzer activity all over the lake, with plenty of rising fish to be seen, and some anglers did well on dries. Nymphs produced good results on floating lines or sink tips with buzzers, hare’s ears and Diawl Bachs accounting for plenty of fish. Many anglers have stuck with what has worked well over the last few weeks, taking fish on intermediate lines and mini lures like blobs, damsels and Cat’s Whiskers.
We’d like to remind our anglers that the fishery will be closed to the public on Saturday 19th of March for a private club event. If you are part of a club and would like to hire the fishery for your members for a day, please contact the shop for further details on 0118 930 3860.
