Fishing Report: Monday 17th October 2022
Another good week at the fishery with a mix of weather. The cooler nights have continued to lower the water temperature and it is now ideal.
Some warm days have seen great buzzer hatches mixed with a few daddies and, as a result we saw some good surface activity with anglers taking plenty on dry fly.
Those opting to go sub-surface have had lots of action on nymphs with damsels, dial bachs and buzzers taking lots of fish. Mini lures have done well with humongous, cats whiskers and tadpoles being the top choices but the natural approach has been the best angle of attack.
