Notes

Another great week at the fishery with lots of surface activity. Daddies and hoppers were the top flies but plenty were also taken subsurface on nymphs and mini lures with damsels, dial bachs and cats whiskers being the ‘go to’ patterns.

The fish have been high up in the water throughout the week and floating lines and midge tips have done the most damage. At the start of the day fish have been close in just over the drop offs but as traffic has built up through the day they have pushed out, so the longer-range casters have had the best of the sport!
