Fishing Report 4th April 2022

Notes

Well that was one of the strangest starts to April we can remember with -5C temperatures at night, snow, hail, rain, wind and sunshine – we had it all. Despite the changeable conditions the fish stayed on the feed with bags of up to 7 fish being landed by those that were brave enough to venture out.
Sink tips and intermediates were the lines of choice with damsels and olive zonkers doing well. During the calmer days plenty of buzzers have been hatching off and we saw lots of fish rising on some afternoons. Buzzers fished by both traditional long line technique and static under an indicator have taken plenty of fish.
Don’t forget this coming weekend is the 2022 Virtual Sportfish Show with 2 days of live and recorded video content from some of the biggest names in the game!
