Fishing Report 6th February

Notes

Another good week at the fishery and the feel of early spring is very much in the air.

Some milder weather has seen plenty of buzzer activity and anglers have had lots of success either long lining or using an indicator with black buzzer patterns. One angler, after treating himself to a new rod from the shop, promptly went out and christened it on dry fly which is fantastic to see this early in the year, and bodes well for later in the spring. Snakes and humongous worked well for those wanting to pull using sink tips and intermediate lines.

A quiet week for the tagged fish with just a couple being landed, but there are still plenty in there to catch. The money pot for the green tagged fish just keeps increasing but was spotted by a regular angler in the past week, so fingers crossed it lets its guard down soon!
